Pre-milling unit
An unrivalled system of pre-milling enables using only one milling tool, which reduces operating and maintenance costs.
The rear pneumatic contact pressure prevents chipping off and damaging the end of the edge banded piece.
GLUE APLYING UNIT – removable glue pot for hot melt adhesive
The patented MINIPROF application unit enables the machine to operate without the necessity of lubrication.
Easy regulation of the amount of adhesive to be applied on the piece from 10 – 60 mm.
Pre-springing of the application unit enables effective application of the correct amount of adhesive to the piece.
MA 6 and MA 8 machines have a removable glue pot in the standard version, with an option to purchase next glue pots
NEW – removable glue pot for adhesive with preheating
The new system of removable Teflon-coated trays for adhesive for Automatic MA 6 and MA 7 machines enables easy replacement of adhesives in all colours and types according to the customer’s requirements in a quick, safe and efficient manner.
The system is ideal for custom edgebanding with different decors in a high quality and always with a correct colour of the hot melt adhesive. Replacing glue pot with adhesives is a matter of several seconds also due to the Teflon finish.
The heating station permitting preheating of a spare glue pot to a selected temperature is part of delivery of the spare glue pot for adhesive. With this system, the adhesive can be ready to use immediately after insertion into the machine.
Rough trimming
For trimming band up to 3 mm thickness.
Swinging-type placing of the aggregate guarantees smooth cutting of the band while the machine is running, without any delay of the edge banded piece during cutting.
PRESSURE UNIT
3-roller pressure zone with copying
It includes 2 fixed pressure rollers, 1 copying roller and elevated guiding of the band for its even gluing to the piece.
Precision trimming with spraying of the trimming blade - version MA 6K
Automated trimming aggregate with possibility of fine tuning of the cut is characterized by high toughness and precision.
The trimming aggregate is equipped with automatic spraying of the trimming blade. Correct dosing is controlled by PLC unit. This solution prevents the trimming blade and the whole unit to become clogged with adhesive and enables the machine to work without unpleasant delays due to cleaning.

Easy replacement of cutting knives
Within several seconds you can adjust precise milling of facet of 45° with thin edges or easily and precisely adjust R2 radius with run-out and thus cut 1 mm edges, which is very popular and great for high gloss materials.
Surface scrappers for the finishing touch
The functions of upper and bottom surface scrappers are the last, but not least important part of the edge banding process.
Scrappers with fine tuning guarantee perfect result.
Scrappers are replaceable with possibility of their regrinding and repeated use.
Machine suction system
The suction system is highly effective because of elaborated sheathing of individual tools and provides very efficient removal of excess milled material.
The machine stays clean all the time, which significantly increases the labour effectiveness and resulting quality of the edge banded pieces.
Sheared off residues of edges are taken into a collecting container at the rear part of the machine and do not pile up in the machine’s interior.
Their complicated removal and mess around the machine thus become a thing of the past.

For inserting the replacement glue pot with adhesive into the machine it is necessary to preheat the adhesive inside the inserted glue pot
RIEPE spraying system before pre-milling station for perfectly clean workpiece – especialy for PUR hot melts (highly recommended)
State-of-the-art RIEPE system of spray nozzles is used by all major global manufacturers of edgebanding machines. It is located before the pre-milling station.
An electronically controlled spraying unit applies a very thin layer of release agent through RIEPE nozzles directly to the top and bottom face of a workpiece. Release agent prevents the surplus adhesive to adhere to its surface and ensures a perfectly clean surface. The need for any final cleaning of the workpiece is significantly minimized, which prevents increase in the production costs.
Due to the very economical system of application, RIEPE guarantees a minimum release agent consumption which will not have any adverse effects on the operating costs (1 litre of release agent per up to 5000 metres of a workpiece per one RIEPE nozzle).
